This is typical for the clasical IT admin who does not bother to find out the issue. Laizy.
Remembered this when a friend asked me for a solutions ... "My Photoshop is broken ... What should I do?".
First thing firt ask yourself what exacly happens. There are a lot of reasons for Photoshop to refuse working. Some of them are:
- Broken collor profile
- Isssues with any of it's palletes (found also in it's profile)
- A broken font
- Issues related with the scrach volume
You do that by doing the following steps:
- Close Photoshop if it happens to be opened
- Hold Command + Option + Shift on Mac OS or Control + Alt + Shift if you are on a PC
- Restart Photoshop (while keeping those keys pressd simultaneously). This will bring up a dialogue box where you can choose to delete your settings file.
- Press yes and you should be up and running.
